Oana has a wide professional experience in operational development, coordination and account management, both in the private and nonprofit sectors. Currently, she acts as European Hub Director within Commit Global. In 2019, she gladly accepted to join the permanent staff of Code for Romania, after three years of volunteering, to support the organization in identifying key partners and donors, contributing to internal communications and organizing community events.
She later became a member of the executive team, implementing the fundraising strategy and assisting the top management through various projects, including two task forces. Previous to Code for Romania, she spent 10 years in a world renowned professional training company, liaising with both internal and external clients from numerous industries, developing new business and offering full customer support for over 30 accounts.
Oana holds a Master's degree in Spatial Planning and Regional Development from the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism and a BSc degree in Ecology and Environmental Protection from the Ovidius University. As a seaside native who is deeply in love with nature, in her spare time, Oana can often be found enjoying the outdoors with her daughter.
