Ana Alexandra Blidaru serves as Assistant Director of Civil Society Capacity Building at Commit Global and describes herself as a π-shaped professional with pillars in art, civic action, and management. With a BA in Photography and an MA in Visual Studies, Ana understands the power of images to touch people, communicate ideas, strike a chord, or generate a reaction.
Her career began in cultural management before transitioning to the NGO sector, where she co-founded One World Romania IDFF, an international human rights documentary film festival. Ana's entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish a community-centered space in Bucharest and join a start-up as well.
After pursuing an MBA at GBSB Global Business School, Ana is channeling her expertise to support NGOs in overcoming financial constraints and aligning expenses with their goals. Her commitment to making a positive impact led her to join Commit Global in the spring of 2023, further enhancing her dedication to serving the community.
