We had a high-level meeting today with Věra Jourová, Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for Values and Transparency. Our colleagues, Anca Dragoi and Costel Bercus, went to the European Commission Representation in Bucharest for an extensive dialogue on how the EU can really harness its innovation potential for digitalization.

Our civic tech sector recommendations should be integrated into future EU strategies for innovation and digitalization. Our approach, focused on transparency, ethics and accessibility, can make significant contributions to shaping a robust and equitable European digital environment.

Together, we can successfully navigate the digital age by ensuring that innovation is directed to the benefit of all European citizens.
